Your hours count, and they're verified
Check in when you arrive and check out when you leave. The organisation approves your hours and they're added to your Voltz Passport, a verified record you can share with your school, a scholarship board or an employer.

Every approved hour earns Voltz. Collect badges as you go and help your district climb the island leaderboard.

Is Voltz free?
Yes. The Voltz app is free to download and use for volunteers, on iPhone and Android.
Who can volunteer?
Anyone 16 or older. Young people aged 13 to 15 can join with permission from a parent or guardian. Some events set a higher minimum age, which you'll see on the event before you register.
What are Voltz?
Points you earn for volunteer hours the organisation has approved, usually 1 Voltz per hour. They count towards badges and the leaderboard, and partner businesses will let you spend them on deals.
How are my hours checked?
You check in when you arrive and check out when you leave, in the app, at the event location. The organisation that ran the event then approves your hours.
What is the Voltz Passport?
A verified record of the hours you've given, the organisations you helped and the events you joined. You decide who can see it, and you can share it with a link, for example with your school, a scholarship board or an employer.
Do I need the app?
The app is the easiest way, because checking in uses your phone's location. You can also sign in on this website to browse events and see your profile.
Our organisation wants to join. What do we need?
Your Chamber of Commerce (KvK) registration number and your registration certificate. Register online, Voltz reviews the details, and then you can publish events and approve hours.
